画家・金山永明と写真家・龍﨑俊が2017年から続けてきた長期的な共同制作の記録である。二人の作家は、互いの作品をまるで絵葉書のように送り合い、写真とドローイングを媒介に長い対話を続けてきた。その対話は一冊の本へと束ねられ、ネガフィルムにマーカーで描き込んだ初期の実験から、デジタル写真にデジタルドローイングを重ねた近作までを内包している。二人の対話は必然的に「歪みの連鎖」の上に育まれたが、まさにその隙間にこそ新しい感覚や言語が生まれうる可能性が宿っている。

화가 에이메이 카네야마와 사진가 스구루 류자키가 2017년부터 이어온 장기적 협업의 기록이다. 두 작가는 서로의 작업을 엽서처럼 주고받으며, 사진과 드로잉을 매개로 긴 대화를 이어왔다. 같은 공간에 존재하지 않더라도 시간이 겹쳐지듯 이어진 이들의 대화는 한 권의 책으로 묶였으며, 네거티브 필름 위에 드로잉을 더한 초기 실험부터 디지털 사진 위에 디지털 드로잉을 겹쳐낸 최근 작업까지 포괄한다. 이들의 대화는 필연적으로 왜곡의 연쇄 위에서 자라났지만 바로 그 틈새에서 새로운 감각과 언어가 태어날 수 있다는 가능성을 품고 있다.

Book Introduction
This book documents a long-term collaborative project between painter Eimei Kaneyama and photographer Suguru Ryuzaki, which has been ongoing since 2017. The two artists have exchanged their works as if sending postcards to one another, sustaining an extended dialogue mediated through photography and drawing. This dialogue has been gathered into a single volume, encompassing early experiments in which drawings were made directly onto negative film with markers, as well as more recent works that layer digital drawings over digital photographs.
Their ongoing exchange has inevitably developed through a chain of distortions, and it is precisely within these gaps that the possibility for new sensibilities and languages emerges.
